  • Nurses are treated as professionals in the U.S., and as a Registered Nurse, you will most likely have more autonomy than you are used to at home.   • Once accepted into the program, it takes approximately 12 to 24 months before you can begin your assignment in the U.S. The amount of time it will take to process your visa application is ultimately dependent on the movement of the "current" priority date for your particular nationality.   • You will need an Employment-Based Permanent Resident Visa. U.S. immigration law provides aliens with a variety of ways to become a lawful permanent residents ( I-551 Green Card) through employment in the United States. A VisaScreen Certificate can be presented to a consular office, or in the case adjustment of status, the Attorney General, as part of a visa application.

  • After an immigration visa petition is approved and prior to a visa interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy. Foreign nurse graduates are required to complete this screening program as part of U.S. immigration requirements.

We reimburse for your NCLEX-RN and IELTS testing fees, once you start working for Fountain Crossing in the U.S.

  • To get your R.N. license, you will need to pass the NCLEX-RN examination. Fountain Crossing has a comprehensive training program and study materials to help prepare you for the exam.

  • Once your application is accepted, the first step is to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Nurses must pass the computerized, multiple-choice NCLEX-RN exam to be eligible for American nursing employment. The NCLEX-RN exam, which covers five areas of nursing (medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, and obstetrics), is designed to test your knowledge and ability to provide high-quality patient care. The exam takes about five hours, and you will know your results within three weeks of taking the exam.

  • Fountain Crossing offers NCLEX sponsorship and will pay for the self-paced online NCLEX review and NCLEX exam upfront for qualified candidates.

  • No, you do not need IELTS before you apply with Fountain Crossing. It is important to be aware that you will need to pass the IELTS exam at some point in the process in order for us to obtain your VisaScreen Certificate (takes 2-3 months to process). You will be required to meet the requirements for IELTS to obtain an immigrant visa.

  • IELTS is an acronym for the International English Language Testing System, a standardized English language test that assesses an individual’s reading, writing, and verbal skills. The IELTS is an English language exam that allows non-native speakers to demonstrate their proficiency in the language.

  • You will be responsible for the cost of the IELTS examination fee. Fountain Crossing will, however, reimburse you this cost when you present proof of passing as part of our NCLEX sponsorship program.
